For years, you’ve been keeping your money rolled up in a wad in your room. Not only is this dangerous in the event of a break-in or fire, but you also are not giving yourself the opportunity to build interest. When you want to open a savings account, you should call or visit a few different banks to find out what types of accounts they offer. For example, some might require a minimum balance.

When the savings accounts require a minimum balance, you need to bring that balance with you to the bank to make your first deposit it. Without it, you are not going to be able to open the account that day. Additionally, you must make certain that you do not go below the minimum. If you do, you might face charges or your account might close.

To open a savings account for the first time, you usually have to go to the physical bank. However, as technology is becoming more prevalent in all domains and time is moving forward, this is not always the case. Sometimes, you can set one up online. This is especially true if you already have another type of account with the bank.

If you would like to start a garden but only have a limited amount of space, there is still hope. Although it may seem impossible to grow food when you’re limited on space, there are plenty of ways to still have a successful garden.

4 Tips for Growing Food with Limited Space:

Use pots: pots can be a great way to grow food. If you don’t have a big yard or any yard at all, make use of pots for your soil. Grow up: instead of growing in rows, grow up. For example, plants like strawberries, peas and tomatoes grow up and can leave you with a nice supply of produce.

Grow inside: if you’re really limited on your space, grow food from inside your home. For example, certain herbs and vegetables grow just fine sitting in a window.

Deck and porch: try and make use of any room on your deck or porch. From hanging baskets to pots and boxed gardens, you may be able to grow more than you ever dreamed of.

Although it may be more difficult to grow food when you’re limited on space, it is still possible. From growing food inside your home to growing vertically instead of horizontally, you can still have your garden.More info here: Eat Your Sprouts and Microgreens!
